The Fountain of Lemgo

The Fountain of Lemgo is absolutely amazing. It is composed of a central column topped by a beer barrel and adorned with faces drinking from their hands. On the basin edge, there are five moveable figures illustrating the Battle of the Barrel in the early 17th century caused by the introduction of a drinking tax. The figures are: the Battle of the Barrel, depicted is a goat, Ilsabein, the Chancelor Knaus, the Mayor, the Gate Keeper. The fountain has been realized by Bonifatius Stirnberg in 1933. Bonifatius Stirnberg was a German sculptor.
Notice that the figures are very agile.
