Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum

The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision is located in Hilversum, and it is the national audiovisual archive of the Netherlands. It was officially opened on September 15, 2006, and it serves as a cultural, educational, and research center for the preservation and promotion of Dutch audiovisual heritage.

The building itself is an impressive structure, designed by Dutch architects Neutelings Riedijk. The exterior of the building features colorful glass panels that represent the pixels of an image, while the interior is filled with archives, exhibition spaces, and a research center.
